You saw some of those already in the sneak peek we posted a few days ago. Here’s the full set from this awesome family session with Pete and Melissa at Greynolds Park in North Miami Beach.
Holidays, holiday orders, some illnesses, confusion and other random things ended up delaying this set way more than Melissa and Pete could ever have been expected to wait. And yet, with trepidation and infinite patience… they waited. I guess all we can say is that now that they’re here… we hope they were worth the wait!

wow! I have been looking for hours at portfolio after portfolio for a photographer for my daughter,her sister, and possibly a family portrait. I have to admit, I was impressed with several photographers in the area that posted beautiful black and whites and what “seemed” to be spontaneous, personal moments between husbands and wives, mom’s and babies, and family events, etc…Compared to this portfolio, they “pale” in comparison. The photographer/(s)I see here have truly captured the moment. Really seems unstaged/posed. I actually got goose bumps viewing the family photos. It is rare that we (I)have the opportunity to witness that brief moment between loved ones that are authentic and unguarded, and photo after photo displayed this so perfectly. TRULY BEAUTIFUL!

In fairness, while we certainly strive to achieve exactly what you describe, and I think my gregarious, fun-loving attitude helps put people at ease … I can’t but point out that the best chefs in the world, with the most amazing recipes and the highest quality cooking gear in the world, still produce their best work only when they have access to the best ingredients. The Kanenbleys were fantastic “ingredients” … aside from the fact that they’re obviously a gorgeous young family with ridiculously adorable little ones… they were ALL into the session, they were up for everything I thought of, and they were super-easy to get comfortable in front of the camera. That’s not to say that I haven’t surprised myself by creating what I think are awesome portraits even of people who most consider camera shy… but you really did pick out a gold nugget here, and I felt it was fair to give credit where credit is due 🙂
Stop trying to be modest. I’ve never seen a family session where I could tell the family had this much of a blast. Heck, even the kids look like they’re having fun!
